About Diane
Diane is a total wellness coach and licensed psychotherapist with over ten years of experience helping clients heal pain, release stress, and move forward from adversity. Diane began her social work career in healthcare, first working with disabled veterans, and finally as a hospice bereavement counselor and department manager. Since moving overseas, Diane has worked as a community liaison at the US Embassy in Manila, Philippines, helping new community members settle in to life at a new post, an adjustment counselor for US Peace Corps volunteers in Albania, and a psychology professor at the University of New York-Tirana, as well as maintaining a private practice at Mind Body Global.
A native Floridian currently living in Arlington, VA, Diane travels the world with her husband, a U.S. diplomat, five year old son Kyle, two son Ben, and two red dogs (a Dachshund and a Vizsla), moving every 2-3 years to embark on a new adventure in a different country. Diane has previously lived in Albania, the Philippines, Portland, OR, Tallahassee, FL and Central Florida. Diane loves yoga, hiking, cooking healthy food in a crock pot, chocolate, traveling, reading detective novels, and learning how to make bread (still a work in process).
Diane has advanced training in several mind-body therapies, including Emotional Freedom Technique [EFT], Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing [EMDR], guided imagery, mindfulness meditation, and yoga, and teaches community workshops such as Joyful Living: Finding Joy through Stress Relief. Diane is the author of the Quick Start Guide to Life Without Migraines: Four Steps to Natural Pain Relief, available on Amazon.com. Diane is currently pursuing an additional 200 hours of yoga teacher training at Sun and Moon Yoga studio in Arlington, VA, augmenting her vinyasa flow certification with a focus on yoga therapeutics. As a total wellness coach specializing in helping women heal from chronic headaches, Diane empowers clients to use a holistic approach to eradicate pain, remove the blocks that feed their pain, and transform adversity into inner peace and growth.
