About Diane
Diane is a total wellness coach and licensed psychotherapist with over ten years of experience helping clients heal pain, release stress, and move forward from adversity. Diane began her social work career in healthcare, working with disabled veterans and as a hospice bereavement counselor and department manager. Since moving overseas, Diane has worked as a community liaison at the US Embassies in Manila, Philippines and Ljubljana, Slovenia, helping new community members settle in to life at a new post, an adjustment counselor for US Peace Corps volunteers in Albania, a yoga instructor, and a psychology professor at the University of New York-Tirana, as well as maintaining a private practice at Mind Body Global. Diane is currently a psychotherapist with the Truman Group.
A native Floridian currently living in Belgium, Diane travels the world with her husband, a U.S. diplomat, two young sons, and two Vizslas, moving every 2-3 years to embark on a new adventure in a different country. Diane has previously lived in Albania, the Philippines, Slovenia, Arlington, VA, Portland, OR, Tallahassee, and Central Florida. Diane loves yoga, hiking, cooking, traveling, and reading.
Diane has advanced training in several mind-body therapies, including Emotional Freedom Technique [EFT], Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing [EMDR], guided imagery, mindfulness meditation, and yoga, and teaches community workshops such as Joyful Living: Finding Joy through Stress Relief. Diane is the author of the Quick Start Guide to Life Without Migraines: Four Steps to Natural Pain Relief, available on Amazon.com. Diane is currently pursuing an additional 200 hours of yoga teacher training at Sun and Moon Yoga studio in Arlington, VA, augmenting her vinyasa flow certification with a focus on yoga therapeutics. As a total wellness coach specializing in helping all persons heal from chronic headaches, Diane empowers clients to use a holistic approach to eradicate pain, remove the blocks that feed their pain, and transform adversity into inner peace and growth.
